Hi there fellow PC users, what a rubbish bloated system this windows 98 is, it really wants trashing and starting from the ground up. Still until that happens we are stuck with a kludge up of a shell stuck on top of an ancient computer system, if a car were built like this it would never reach the showroom. If you live in the UK, I would advise against any major purchases from PC world, after spending thousands of pounds with them the aftersales service has been appalling and even got to the stage of threats to take them to the small claims courts.

ICONLOCK I use just a laptop and plug it into a 19" monitor when at home, this lets me save and recall different icon layouts for different screen rez's. It will also let you lock icons and other features so if your computer is used by others it can't be messed up

GUENTER NAGLER'S PAGE ........ Here you will find a wealth of midi utilities written by the very talented Guenter, he even wrote me a small program for the kind of work I do.

XNview......  A freeware picture file viewer / modifier/ converter by Pierre-e Gougelet  this handles over 200 picture formats it is on a par with commercial programs it is compact and works in several languages
